Why does AskDiana just repeat back the document I gave it?

With one document and one question, there isn't much for AskDiana to connect yet — it will mostly reflect the source you gave it, no matter which response depth mode you use. AskDiana's real strength is cross-referencing across documents, people, and systems. See Get Better, Deeper Answers for how to see that in action.

What's the difference between Attach and Upload?

Attach adds a file to one conversation only. Upload adds it to your permanent knowledge base, searchable from any future chat. See Your First Question.

Can AskDiana see my live business data, or only uploaded files?

Both. Switch the Knowledge dropdown in the chat box to query a connected system (e.g. Odoo) instead of your uploaded documents. See Connecting Your ERP/CRM.
